The specially designed locator services provided by Store Locator Wiz are both powerful and flexible. You can set up a locator service to point to any location of interest (eg. a store, outlet, reseller) anywhere in the world. Each location is defined by its postcode and its latitude and longitude.

Location services can be provided via a number of interactive methods including telephone based IVR, SMS, MMS and via the web. Our streamlined processes allow for location services to be set up, recorded and updated very quickly. Using an updating process that set up for you, you will be able to quickly and easily update your locator services yourself.

How our location services work

We can build a location service for you incorporating one or more of the following technologies:

Via a 13, 1300, 1800 or 04 telephone number

  • Customer rings and is given information about their closest outlet
  • Customer rings and is switched through to speak to someone at the location
  • Customer rings and has a SMS sent to them about their closest outlet
  • Customer sends an SMS to your number, and receives an SMS back with a location message
  • Customer sends an SMS to your number, and receives an MMS (multimedia message) back with a location message

Via a web site

  • Customer visits your site and uses an interactive, inegrated map to find their nearest outlet
  • Customer visits your site, enters their mobile number and is sent a location message via SMS or MMS

How the customer's location is detected

When a customer calls you, we can detect the customer's location in a number of ways:

  • Customer enters their postcode using their phone touchpad
  • Customer enters their suburb using their phone touchpad
  • If customer is calling from an unrestricted landline, their location can be automatically detected.

What Reports we can generate for you

We can provide stats reports for you covering a range of information. Reports can be compiled over specific time periods and can be Australia-wide or broken down by state. Some of the stats we can report are:

  • Total number of “hits” per store
  • Total number of “outdials” per store
  • Total number of messages (SMS, MMS, etc.) delivered per store per day
  • Total number of “message takes” per store per day
